Great show and hats off to the better half (Man Sandwich!) for her HD DVD early morning adventure. Ghost Rider (one version of the movie anyway) has a HD DVD release from Germany, region free of course and English soundtrack but expect to pay a little more than US disks from your local store. It is a shame the Spielberg has the hots for Blu-ray, would have loved to hand over some cash for Close Encounters.
I agree! Being a new HD DVD player owner, it wasn't easy to walk away from that title. I would have loved to have owned it. Needless to say, I hate the format wars. In the end, we are the ones who lose.

Northern Exposure was not a Canadian based show, it was an Alaskan based show.
But it was filmed in Washington State.
